THE challenge

Pain, loss and uncertainty can disconnect us from ourselves, from others and from the life still unfolding around us.

02
What happens to us is not always within our control. How we meet it matters deeply.
We may continue functioning while becoming emotionally absent, protecting ourselves from pain, but also losing access to meaning, connection and hope. Adversity can narrow our choices and define how we live long after the moment has passed.
Adversity can narrow our choices and define how we live long after the moment has passed.
03
Authentic resilience is not emotional armour. It is a capacity we can learn.
Gabi translates lived experience, years of professional coaching and advocacy into a human framework for meeting adversity without losing connection to ourselves, others or what matters. She helps audiences remain present, recognise where choice still exists and respond with courage rather than emotional armour, making authentic resilience practical, learnable and deeply relevant.

biography

Gabi Lowe is a South African keynote speaker, professional life and leadership coach, bestselling author and medical advocate whose work explores courage, authentic resilience and what it means to remain present and connected when life changes everything. Her authority is grounded in both professional expertise and profound lived experience. Following her daughter Jenna’s diagnosis with a rare, life-threatening illness, Gabi and her family embarked on an extraordinary journey through medical uncertainty, advocacy, love and loss. Together, they helped launch the #GetMeTo21 campaign, which increased organ donor registrations in South Africa by 287%. After Jenna’s death in 2015, Gabi co-founded the Jenna Lowe Trust to continue her legacy and advance awareness, access and support for patients affected by pulmonary hypertension and rare disease. Today, Gabi translates these hard-earned lessons into powerful keynotes, coaching and facilitated experiences. She teaches that courage is not fearlessness, and resilience is not emotional armour, but a learnable capacity built through awareness, vulnerability, connection and conscious choice. Gabi is the founder of The Coaching Nest and co-founder of The Resilience Factory. Her bestselling memoir, *Get Me to 21*, became the foundation for the award-winning documentary *Get Me to 21: The Jenna Lowe Story*. Through her work, Gabi helps people live and lead with greater courage, humanity and authentic resilience.
